Life Begins at 40

My first ever camera of note, was a camera from Fuji Photo Film Co., the Fujica ST801

It was great camera that I dragged along to as many lonely walks as I could remember.

It was released in 1972.

It has some great features (including an LED light meter), was compact (relatively) and handsome (subjectively).

Now there is this from Fujifilm.

So packed with features that I would bore you with them.

And to think what has been achieved in 40 years of photography and camera manufacturing.

I predict that photography will not be taken over by wearable electronics or implants in our eyes. It will always be a tactile and visual art of individualistic self expression…
